Hello, my name is Brenton Ford. I’m based in Melbourne, Australia and have been involved with swimming for over 17 years.
It has only been the last 3 years that I have been serious about teaching people the skill of swimming fast. Since then I have coached the Melbourne University swim team and at present I’m coaching one of Australia’s most recognised Master’s swimming clubs.
In 2008 I began running technique workshops for the swimmers I coached. The feedback and results from the workshops was so great that I was asked to put together a program which I could give to my swimmers so they could work on their technique without me being there.
Over a period of 12 months I refined the program to make it simple, concise and easy to do so that anyone from around the world could learn to master freestyle technique.
I believe swimming is the greatest sport there is, not just in terms of fitness. Swimming requires discipline, a positive attitude, persistence and many other life skills which are essential to success. I created this program as a way to share the enjoyment and the feeling of perfecting the freestyle stroke.
If you are interested in becoming the best swimmer you can, and excelling in a sport which many people struggle at then make a decision now to persist until you succeed at swimming. I created the Mastering Freestyle program because it pains me to see so many swimmers struggle and never improve their swimming. It doesn’t have to be that way.
My members get access to lifetime updates of the program, as I will add more videos, more drills and more training strategies as the swimming world brings about new ideas.
If you are interested in joining the Mastering Freestyle program and improving your own freestyle technique then you can join me here.
All the best,
BRENTON FORD

Hi there, my name is Sam Ashby. Like Brent, I’ve been involved with swimming for a long time. I began my journey 15 years ago, at a small indoor pool in New Zealand and haven’t looked back since.
My greatest achievement in the sport to date was winning the 100 meter Individual Medley at the Australian Championships. I’ve swam on a number of Australian teams and have been fortunate enough to race in places such as Hawaii and Singapore.
Right now I’m training towards the London Olympic Games in 2012 and it’s my goal to be selected on the Australian team for those Olympics.
When Brent asked me to be a part of the Mastering Freestyle program I couldn’t say no. Brent’s been a successful swimmer himself and has now turned his focus to coaching. The drills and the training strategies in the Mastering Freestyle program will help anyone dramatically improve their freestyle. I should know, I use these things in training!
